In the gentlest corner of the universe, the Little Prince arrived on a long-troubled little planet — designation Ac-1726. This small planet had a soft pink surface, but in certain corners, swollen red bumps had begun to grow. They were called pimples.
“They are like castles grown from excess sebum,” said an elderly skin doctor to the Little Prince. “Inside live some rather unfriendly residents.”
“We’ve tried many things,” the doctor continued, “lotions, pills, all kinds of sprays — but they always ended up hurting the good folks too, leaving the entire planet unsettled.”
The Little Prince gazed at the bumps with soft yet determined eyes.
“There must be a kind of light,” he said, “one that only shines where change is needed, and never harms others — like love and gentleness.”
The doctor nodded.
“We’ve found such a light. It comes from the 1726-nanometer spectrum — a beam that is absorbed almost exclusively by sebum. It doesn’t burn. It doesn’t scream. It works quietly, only where needed.”
So, they built a small flying vessel, with a sapphire window cool as moonlight. It would first gently cool the planet’s surface, lulling all the unaffected residents into peaceful sleep. Then, with precision and brevity, it would cast that special light — penetrating exactly 0.8 millimeters, just enough to reach the core of the sebum castles.
“With each flash of light,” the doctor explained, “the sebum castles quietly collapsed. The planet no longer hurt, nor fell into chaos.”
They tested it many times. Whenever the light appeared, the temperature inside the sebaceous glands rose to exactly 98.2°C — just enough to dismantle the castles. But the nearby grass and peaceful residents never felt more than 50°C.
They didn’t feel a thing.
One day, they treated a young girl living in Zone Three of the Skin Star. Her cheeks had once been filled with fiery red fortresses. After three treatments, she smiled — not the kind of smile people expect, but a free, joyful smile.
“This light,” said the Little Prince, “isn’t an attack. It’s understanding.
It only illuminates the places that need healing.”
From that moment on, the little vessel — called “1726” — quietly began to visit more and more planets. It never boasted. It never demanded attention.
It simply brought its light to the places that longed for comfort.
True gentle technology isn’t meant to change everything.
It’s meant to help a part of us return to what was once beautiful.
The Little Prince wrote those words in his small diary, ready to bring them back to planet B-612 — to share them with the rose he loved.
